You Don’t Juggle It All — You Schedule It

You Don’t Juggle It All — You Schedule It

Wife. Mom. Grandma. Sister. Granddaughter. Friend. Business owner.

Those are a lot of hats to wear, and I get asked all the time, “How do you juggle it all and still take care of your health and fitness?”

The honest answer?
I don’t juggle it.
I schedule it.

I schedule almost everything in my life. That’s how things actually happen. Does that mean everything goes perfectly all the time? Absolutely not. But I know this for sure — if I didn’t schedule it, most of it wouldn’t happen at all.

I schedule my workouts. I plan my food. I schedule business appointments and personal commitments around what season of life I’m currently in. Right now, that season looks like watching my new grandson four days a week, running a business, coaching and supporting our members, and helping my daughter — who’s expecting her third baby — get to and from her weekly appointments.

On top of that, I make dinner plans with my kids, plan visits with my grandmother, and take my brother to and from work every day. And let’s not forget Sundays, where I have the joy of teaching children’s church to Pre-K kids every single week.

That may sound like a lot — and it is — but here’s the key: I prioritize what matters by scheduling it.

If something is important to you, it deserves a spot on your calendar. Not “when I have time.” Not “if things slow down.” Put it on the calendar and honor it the same way you would a work meeting or a doctor’s appointment.

Your workouts matter.
Your health matters.
Your goals matter.
And yes — your family, friends, and responsibilities matter too.

You don’t have to choose between taking care of yourself and being present for the people you love. You can do both. But it requires intention. It requires planning. And sometimes, it requires saying no to excuses.

This isn’t something I’ve perfected — it’s something I work at every single day. But it’s part of my life, and it’s worth the effort.

You matter.
Your goals matter.
And you are capable of more than you think.

Schedule it — and make it happen. 💪
